Channel Zoo Opening 2013

We open our doors for the first fiesta of the summer with Channel Zoo.

Stop the press people! – The line-up has been announced for this year’s Channel Zoo Opening on Wednesday 29th May with A Guy Called Gerald and Spencer Parker headlining.

Yes, opening season is upon us once again in sunny Ibiza so get the shades out, tone up that bikini body and, most importantly, book those flights! The zoo is open for business!

It’s the first of an exciting summer season of parties at the infamous abandoned zoo. 

The full line-up for this year’s opening is A Guy Called Gerald (live), Spencer Parker, Acid Mondays, Federico Grazzini, Funk E, Michael James, Jonathan Tena and Jean Cedric.

It’s that special time of year again – time to feel the sun on your back and the breeze in your hair, time to lose yourself then find yourself all over again, time to dance like there’s no tomorrow – it’s time for Channel Zoo!

A Guy Called Gerald | A Guy Called Gerald is an electronic music institution. An integral part of the Manchester Acid House scene of the late 1980s, his track Voodoo Ray was the best selling independently released record of 1989. In 1992 he established Juice Box Records, a hugely influential label whose early releases provided blueprints for the emerging jungle and techno scenes. Since then Gerald has taken his sound all over the globe and continues to release records on the likes of Laboratory Instinct, Perlon and Sender Records.

Spencer Parker | Berlin based Spencer Parker has made huge waves in the electronic music world over the past decade. With releases on such labels as Tsuba, Ovum, Liebe*Detail and Nite Grooves, his productions, re-edits and remixes have been played by some of the biggest names in the industry. He is a regular in many of Berlin’s infamous clubs and has played at events throughout the world. His debut album A Gun For Hire was released in 2011.
